Bears have always been available at Blakemere since the centre opened in 1994, but a year ago, in 2006, there was suddenly no longer a home for bears.  So Cobblestones decided to give lots of bears a place to live until they are chosen by that someone special to take home and look after them.

A visit to our shop would definitely be worthwhile for the bear enthusiast with new stock arriving regularly and special orders taken for specific bears required.  Our team are both helpful and knowledgeable, and extremely keen to provide the best customer service possible.

Bring along your bear for a great day out and after visiting Cobblestone Bears wander around Blakemere with its 30 unique craft shops and workshops or have a go at throwing a pot on a real potters wheel.  Take your teddy into our tropical garden centre and look at the wonderful and unusual collection of tropical plants from around the world – they’ll think you’ve taken them to a tropical paradise!

Then you can treat them to a beautiful freshly prepared home cooked lunch in our restaurant and coffee shop, or just to a cup of tea and slice of home-baked cake (or marmalade sandwich!)

We stock collectible and artist bears such as Steiff, Bearington Collection, Charlie Bears and Beatrix bears to name but a few, as well as a huge selection of cute and cuddly bears from Russ, Gund and Ty Beanies.
